we are a
Federal Government Contractor

Federal Electrical Projects Require Special Handling

Mid States Electric has worked with a variety of government entities at the federal level. These contracts involve processes and procedures which must be thoroughly researched and strictly followed. We have assembled a team of experts experienced in managing government projects, who can design, install, and maintain electrical systems for these agencies. Because this type of work is awarded to the lowest bidder, skill, efficiency, and preparation are key in its successful, on-time completion.

We are fully committed to providing our clients with the highest quality of workmanship and customer service. We understand that you have a choice in selecting an electrical contractor, and we will strive to earn your business every day.

Safety is Job #1

As green technology becomes increasingly necessary, we make a concerted effort to do all we can to curb energy consumption and costs at federal facilities. We hold ourselves to the highest levels of integrity and reliability, and we require that our employees pass criminal background checks to ensure the safe completion of government contracts.

Mid States Electric has installed medium voltage power, underground conduit, structures, and lighting on federal projects throughout the Midwest. This includes partnering with the Amy Corps of Engineers to install a control system for a new water-chiller system at Gavins Point Dam, which is the furthest downstream dam on the Missouri River. We designed and installed an upgrade to multiple motor control centers on Gavins Point Dam.
