Jim Henschen

Jim Henschen started working in the electrical field in 1987. He began with farm and light industrial work in the Charter Oak area.

 

In 1989, he started to work with Chase Electric in a new fresh meat kill or cut facility. He is licensed to work in South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Oklahoma.

 

He received his Journeyman license in 1989 and Nebraska Electrical Contractor license in 1991.

 

Jim has handled some of the most complex projects both large and small with over 100 electricians on site. He handles the critical aspects of Mid States Electric, such as customer care and new client development.

Justin Hamar, the company Chief Financial Officer, began working in 1985. He has gained extensive experience working in meat packing plants, schools, prisons, and other industrial projects at Chase Electric. Justin holds a master electrician license in South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

 

He received his Nebraska Journeyman license in 1989 and Nebraskan Electrical Contractor license in 1991. You can trust his knowledge and experience to efficiently handle large projects including projects that involve variable frequency drives.

Brian is an NCCER certified instructor for the in-house apprenticeship program and also handles the safety training for Mid States Electric.

Brian Henschen graduated from the Western Iowa Tech electrical program in 1983.

 

He worked initially as a self-employed electrician around his hometown, Charter Oak. He then continued to work and gained experience at an Iowa beef processing plant in Denison, IA  and at Chase Electric.

 

He holds a Master Electrician license in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas.

 

Brian received his Nebraska Journeyman license in 1989 and became a Nebraska Licensed Electrical Contractor in 1991.

He is on the board for ABC of Iowa.
